CCFHS School Based Preventative Dental Hygiene Program:
Our program is currently providing services to the following schools:
    • K-8 Errol Elementary School
    • K-3 Milan Village School
    • K-5 St. Michael's School
    • K-3 Brown School
    • K-3 Bartlett School
    • Berlin Headstart Program
    • Home Schooled Students

Screenings: A free visual exam is offered to all students. Observations include decayed, missing and filled teeth, hard and soft tissue abnormalities, orthodontic and/or speech concerns, and home care evaluation. Results and recommendations are sent home to the parent.

Prevention: To students who have barriers to regular dental care, the following in-school services are offered.

    1. Dental Cleaning
    2. Fluoride Treatment
    3. Diet Counseling
    4. Oral Exam either by a dentist or dental hygienist

Restorative: Depending on need, and after a dentist's exam, referrals are made to participating community dentists with funding provided by CCFHS.

Additional Programs:

    1. Special classroom education programs
    2. Weekly fluoride rinse program
    3. Community Day Care education programs
